Zx3 in need of general opinion

Hey guys, I drive a red 00 zx3 hatch and I need some suggestions. Stock rims are painted black. Would any other paint color look ok? White? Copper? Grey? I'd LOVE to have svt rims for it, ( I've got a 3 month old baby, don't got the deepest pockets anymore ). I want some Critism and suggestions for my hatch. Any input is really appreciated. And anyone know how much I can pick up 4 svt rims for ? Or any decent rims that arent outrageous and will still make my car look good .Tires or not, try not to give me heart attacks lol.

Thanks guys

Well used SVT wheels usually sell from around $200-600, depending on condition, seller and if they come with usuable tires or not.

Almost always a set for sale here:

Keep an eye on craigstlist too as they do pop up from time to time.

(i didnt like turning my head to see it)

You didnt give us the greatest picture but the car looks alright for a 2000. I'm not a fan of that over sized muffler on the back of it sticking out at that odd angle but other than that, looks fine. Really hard to tell from your one photo but are you lowered at all (front looks decently lower than rear?) I think the wheels look fine in black, so no need to repaint them (especially when that money can be better used on your kid!)

Ya know, I never really looked at it without that strip, now that you mention it, that trim is pretty dumb looking

Moved to "Wheels, Tires, Brakes & Suspension" since that is what most of your questions seem to concern.

pretty sure the early cars have clips to hold that trim on. you'd be left with a bunch of holes in the doors if you removed them

wheels would look good dark grey or silver. blacks ok but blends a bit too much. One positive thing about the 15's is tires cost less and the ride should be a little softer for that baby because of the extra sidewall
