Small leak, clutch pedal.

Hello all. Hopefully the right forum for this.

The vehicle I'm experiencing this issue with is an 04 zx3 with the 2.0L
There seems to be a fluid dripping from the clutch pedal. It's coming from a cylinder down under the dash attached to the clutch pedal arm

What is this part and how easily replaced is it? Should I bother fixing myself or just take it to Dobbs?

This is the part you need, also shop around for the best price. It's a common problem on all standard foci, you can replace it your self and save some quite a bit of money. HERE is the how to for it.

Steve @ Tousley Ford (on FJ) will get you the best price on an OEM part. Good luck.

Ok so I put in the new master clutch cylinder but now I need to adjust my clutch pedal so it doesn't release as soon as I take my foot off... Like I push the pedal all the way to the floor, put it in gear, almost as soon as i take pressure off the pedal it engages.

I know how to do this with a cable clutch, but I'm clueless with a hydraulic.

If you bled it and don't have any air then that's probably how it should be. Mine engages practically right off the floor also, where as my SVT wouldn't engage till almost at the end of the pedal travel. Before I replaced the clutch in my yellow focus it engaged right at the end of it's travel just like the SVT.
