distance from the oil pump doesnt matter. most run from a fitting behind the coil pack on the zetec head or you can tee into the sending unit

Correct is internal in DBB, some people in the past had issues blowing seals in either one and as a precaution PTE suggested to some to run restrictors but not to the limit just enough to lower the pressure on high flow pumps, since then they have corrected the design and even the DBB is a different seal.

right, and I contacted I think his name was steve at precision and he said it wouldn't hurt anything to run a restrictor on our turbo. and I told him bout the oil pressure our zetec heads can give and he said yes it wouldn't hurt anything running one.

This happened after a lot of EVOs' running 5857 and some 6262 had the issues and some more than once, Precision issued warranties and suggested the restrictors even in DBB. When I went to pick up my spare center cartridge my friend told me the seals are improved, still wouldn't hurt and I run one.

Exactly. It doesn't hurt anything and gives me peace of mind. I like precision, and theyuse DBB and you don't need to run water lines
