Air is going to take the path of lease resistance and thats going around the cooler not through so help make it go through for the best cooling

Thats one of the reasons I want this intercooler. the bumper I have, the inner hole matches perfectly with the intercooler core and will act as a funnel directing it in just like that "boxing in" we were referring to, and I wont have to cut the bumper. :)
