Marks aligned is GOOD.

Note was a reminder that even if right, they'll only align on every SECOND rotation of the crank.

If you turned the crank to "aligned" the top mark COULD be 180 off, second turn to bring them up together. Wouldn't want you to pull something apart that's OK from that potential confusion. (It's been done B4)

Make sure the marks line up at one of two crank turns and engine will start. Like he says.

Fuel pump issue if you can't hear it.

Backfire because you sprayed wrong fuel in there, burns too slow to come out intake. Look how slow brake cleaner evaporates to vapor.............think it out. You may have even wet plugs temporarily to side-short out to backfire also. Wrong choice for primer fluid.
