NEVER had a real build thread on this forum....I want to take you on a summerized history before we get down with the build....

2004-05 The Early Years:

After my tour in Iraq, I was quick to jump on this SVT. It wasn't long before I added a cold air intake. The sound of the air being sucked in was real nice. I few months later I joined FocusFanatics and Fj online communities, to learn more about my car.

One of the popular mods for the SVT was replacing the R13 relay with a jumper wire so that you did not have to turn on the head-lights when you want to use the fog-lights. Replacing the fog-light bulbs with Hoen H10s made out nice. An order all the way from France was Morette's tail lights. I didn't like the OEM lights as it messed up the roof-line flow for me...

2006 - Cruisin':

After my stint in Honduras and a beautiful marriage, I've decided it was time for some performance upgrades. This would be Borla's 2.5in exhaust. It was great with a deeper throatier sound. Between the performance upgrades, I managed to decently paint eyelids on my headlights.

A couple months later (when they were popular,) I scored a hard-to-get set of Hella European Appearance Package HIDs and full interior from Focus-Salvage. Some wiring modifiocations needed done though. The '98 upper Euro grill added a nice touch doing away with the front orange blinkers.

Half way through the year I scoped out Focus-Power on building me the 2.3L stroker he offered. I then decided I wanted to go force inducted with a supercharger. To prepare for this, I started collecting parts left and right as the engine was being built.

2007 - Stroking & Blowing:

Focus-Power's black car had this hood I was interested in. I searched the internet for a good two days and eventually I found it on E-bay. The company Turbo Fabricators Inc is who makes it. They are found only on E-bay.

In November, my engine was nearly complete. I paid a visit to Tom to check it out. A cam gear had to be changed because of the rusted bolts not being able to come off. In February it was finallly completed along with ATi's C2 Pro-charger. Going from 2.0 to 2.3 along with the supercharger gave me a 123% power increase with a wopping 335whp/251wtq.

To help with power the exhaust was replaced with a stainless steel 3in glass packed exhaust. Sucker was loud at the time! Underhood tempertures were lowered wrapping the headers.

2009 - What...Turbo Now?:

I decided to go turbo. What more can I say? 330whp/331wtq @ 15psi. Had Dominic custom fab me an intake to support my Focus-Central 70mm throttle body.

I don't have many pictures because I was stationed in Okinawa, Japan from 2007-'10. The car still runs great, but needs a new clutch.

Can't wait to see a big goofy smile on Your face while behind the wheel again, Mike!
I had a big poofy smile when some FLF guys Josh & Owen stopped by to help out. About the second week of Sept, they're coming back to put on the front end RS parts.

Am I the only one who can't find a battery cover and a cover for the spark plug wires?? I've logreat forever....great car though [thumb] I love the hood
I sold mine many years ago, they just got in my way, but now I really don't need them when I get my new parts installed.

I'd like to get the following done to the car:

    At the same time:
  • ---Get the RS parts put on, rolled, and painted
  • ---Install new engine parts, clean it, paint
  • ---Modify the SVT and/or ATX harness to work with SVT Engine and ATX ECU.

Once those tasks are done:
  • Fab up a new radiator support similar to Dom. Eng. So there is more space for the fans
  • Install wiring, battery relocation, gauges, interior
  • Install engine, Lentech ATX
  • Install Turbo Kit & Exhaust
  • Basic tune with rev limit at 3000 so I can get use to driving again.
  • Install mobility freedom controls.

Next at the same time
  • Suspension Everything
  • 5-Lugs
  • My Japanese Weds Sports 17x9s
