Not a Focus, but here's what I've done to my Saab 9-3 so far.
Start, note the stock silver trim and aftermarket Ace V12 wheels, which I bought already plastidipped Anthracite.

Silver trim then got dipped with four coats of Black and three of Silver Metalizer.

Then I tried to get tricky with the wheels. Experimentation phase:

What I really wanted was the look of a black or gray wheel with a machined silver face, much like the black and silver Mk3 Focus wheels. I couldn't get my tape to lay right, so I went to Plan B. Four solid coats of Black, then three coats of Anthracite, but concentrated on the faces. Then three coats of Silver Metalizer, again concentrated on the faces. Result is the the wheels really pop in the sun, but subtly fade darker toward the back of the wheel.
Pics have different brightness/contrast levels:

Not the best pics, but gives you an idea of the versatility of Silver Metalizer.

Orange- great job on those rims. Usually, I really don't like that sryle of rim, but the gun metal gray makes them look allot better.

Swansong- that grille looks much better black.

Paint 2 out of four of my rims Anthracite Grey with glossifier last night. I couldnt do all 4 because I couldnt find any jack stands so I could only lift up one side at a time. I took the back wheels off and it started to rain so i couldnt paint the fronts last night because they were so wet. But the backs turned out awesome with the sterling grey color of my car! Non-potato photos coming tonight/tomorrow when I finish all the wheels.

I also am going to peel the dip around the center caps off and add these sweet Star wars Empire center cap decals (going for a Shadow Trooper look instead of the common black/white Storm Trooper look lol)

How about Dip your Golf Cart. Got bored one day. its a 92 club car, not the best of shape. Freshening it up helps. Black plastidip, with red on top. Then put the white on the wheels.

I know a lot about cars. I can look at any cars headlight and tell you which way its going

This is my plan for plasti dipping my car. Cutting the stencils on my laser cutter this weekend, just waiting on the dip to show up. Thoughts?
