HELP!!!! Few issues!!! Can't figure out

New to the focus world! Have an svt 02
Having a few issues I can't figure out

First off, have an idle issue. Will get stuck at
3,000 rpm for a whole when cold then go down
Also idle goes up and down as well. Can't figure
It out. Checked for vaccume leaks couldn't find any

Second ...... Check engine light is on but doesn't
Illuminate. Like the bulb was taken out. Way to check w/o
Takin apart whole dash. And have a few codes
2 for 02 sensors one for knock sensor. Replaced all 3
And cleared codes. Then check engine codes
Again after driving a few miles and the same codes
R still on. Any ideas?

And 3rd.......
When driving have a cluncking sound when shifting
And accelerating or decelerating and even small bumps.
Found that one of the sway bars were broken
Replaced that didn't stop noise. Any one had any of
These issues please help

Hmm ... did you just buy your SVT?

For your first one, if it only happens during the cold start, that's normal with the stock tune off the SVT Focus. It would rev close to 3000 during warm up, and then come back down. If it fluctuates after that ... it does seem like you have a vacuum leak somewhere.

On the second one, what are the codes? Sometimes you can get bad 02 sensors from the get go, but both ... hmm.

This last part with the noise sounds like it could be the heat shield right above your catalytic converter or a bad rear motor mount. The heat shield under there is a common pop off on the SVTs as well. It happened to me in less than a year when I bought my car new in 03.

Hi ! When I bought my svt the dogbone mount behind the tranny was bad and the car felt exactly how you described it. You could take a look at it !
