Actually I have a guy willing to get me those seats for around 2 grand total, which is definitely a worth while proposition for me. I'm really just looking to see if anyone has any info on the possibility of getting this done.

None so far, I have a buddy who is willing to fabricate the brackets for me. He said it wouldn't be too much trouble, I just have to wait until I have time for him to really look at the pieces and figure out the specifics.

Buying any old pair of Recaros would make more sense.

To the OP, if you find/get some SVT Recaros, you will need to swap the side seat airbags, and probably the seat belt buckles, from your '02 seats, into the new Recaros, otherwise you will have an air bag light. Good luck.
