Having aftermarket headlight problems?

The factory harness is well made. I dont know how water got into it. One tiny diode rusted and failed. I never lost my lights just the ability to have high beams. I had an issue emailed them after hours and had an answer first thing the following day. You can call them and talk to somebody if you want too. They are very polite and dont talk down to you. Ordered the replacement harness last night and it shipped this morning.

First I've heard of problems with TRS other than user error.

I had everything plugged into the driver side as there is the most empty space down in the bumper but i think that is where i went wrong. Theres nothing to block the road slush or other wetness coming off the tires. Atleast on the passenger side theres the washer fluid and coolant tank. This winter i was springing for a lot of under body washes and i bet tgats how the water got into the harness

I know what you mean, right about now is the wet and dirty season of winter in Minnesota so I got an unlimited car wash pass from a Holiday gas station near my house. Since I got it I think I have washed my car every day, sometimes twice a day (under body soak included). My DDM fog light ballasts are zip tied to my lower radiator support and I don't have the plastic piece (splash guard) on the bottom of the bumper. They have just been getting pounded by water every wash and have been holding up pretty well for how cheap they are.

The new morimoto has no splices and uses a mesh type wire organizer instead of the corrugated plastic tubing. Also one other difference, the grounds are located at the projector lead ends (2x) instead of (1x) long batt- lead. This means you have to back out some fender bolts.
