Question on the CF hood, mine is comp orange and could use some paint work on the hood, a color that cannot be matched, i have tried. Does your hood fit right? I was thinking black on orange could look good but I bought a FG hood for my truck and it is crap, looks good with hood pins but stupid that the fit is so poor I need them.

I think it's just a tad narrow, but all-in-all it fits well. Problem is it's not made any longer. It's a Fiber Images hood, and as I understand it was the lightest hood made.

If you want one, I'd talk to the guys at Extreme Dimensions. Was a guy who worked for them that swung through the site from time to time. Seemed to be a really customer orientated staff.

I spent nearly 600 dollars on my '03 SVT right after I bought it. It was almost time for a cam belt, so I changed that, the water pump, and the serpentine and cam belt tensioners. I paid the local Ford dealer to do it. Then nearly a hundred on a new trailer hitch. I'll probably buy a new diffuser because I modified the current one. The car cost my $5400. Top dollar, I figure, but its a nice one.

I've spent $1500 on my 03 SVT.
Buying new brakes, tires, clutch, thermostat, and oil change:) not to mention tons of Cleaning supplies haha only had it for a month.
I bought the car for 4k which I think was a great deal. Trying to decide if I should get the new clutch installed before or after h2o, what do you guys think? I'm not a show off but I like to rip it every once in a while

If you count my shifter setup my fiance got for me, $500, if you don't then it's about $250. That's nothing compared to the $3,600 I had put into my Mustang. lol

I assume that's more then a shift knob, what do you do to a shifter for $250?

Steeda short shifter ($120), weighted shift knob ($65), and custom shortened shift boot ($65). My avatar shows the end result.

The only thing I did buy was winter tires for my car ~$450. I have a list when the warranty is up which is about $10k.

What do you think of the engine cover? Did you buy it for looks or to keep the engine quiet?
