outline/overlay type

does anyone know if there is an outline for interior parts? like if i wanted an overlay for the radio/climate bezel and door handle inserts. i want to have a custom design put on different parts but would like an outline that way i can have it painted or print exactly to size...... yes similar to wrapping but a custom design not your typical carbon fiber stuff thanks for any and all help

Moved to "MK1 Focus Interior Mods & Upgrades". Do you mean are there any overlay kits available? Or do you asking if there is something like a template? As far as the overlay kits go, I have seen quite a few available everything ranging from what our vendors carry all the way to what is shown on Ebay. But as for a template of all the interior parts, I have never seen anything like that.

More than likely that will be the case. I am sure if you search high and low you will eventually find one. I for one have never seen any templates out there. The only suggestion I can make to you is to make your own paper templates and go from there.

You can also forgo templates completely and make your own hydro dipping station. I've seen it done a few times and doesn't look too hard.

Hydro-dipping is an option as well. I have had a couple of friends try this and some of the items they did turned out decent. I know their first few tries weren't that great though lol. I know the kits that they were using they bought from www.mydipkit.com. I can't remember the price on the kits but they weren't exactly cheap. And it does require some experimenting with to get really good at it. So good luck to what ever you choose to do.

Basic kit from my dipkit .com is $69. Then $99 and $169. There is also my dipwizard.com. Lots if patterns. For smaller parts it's pretty easy to do once you've experimented abit. Only thing about mydpikit.com is they only sell their films with a kit so you cannot buy just film.
