I agree, wheels are sick they way they are. I've always liked those. I also agree on stock tails never been a fan of the hatchback but the stock tails are better than anything I've seen aftermarket. That goes with the tails on the sedan too.
Well I am no longer low, after I blew my rear shock I couldn't get in contact with DGR and after almost 2 months with a rake suspension I threw the stock suspension on and am planning on selling my DGRs for parts. So pissed off about it too, but I will end up with coilovers again and saving up starts right now. I do plan on getting performance setup this time and I most certainly will NOT be getting DGR.
I don't have a pic but it's 4x4 again... Makes me sad, had to sell my lowering springs to buy the coilovers so I can't even be a little low...
Are you on ksports?
Im looking at getting ksports, they no longer come with adjustable camber plates. I was wondering if the spc camber/caster kit for the front gets a car lowered quite aggressively to within alignment specs. I am also assuming I will need adjustable rear arms. I also read on here somewhere that wheel spacers are needed. 15mm front and 20mm is one combination I read. Obviously depending on how low I go.
I want do lower my car quite aggressively but want to do it right and keep everything as close to spec as possible for alignment.
I got it out today. My ksports and Tarmacs are on. Also have a few more new things. I'm about as low as I can go in the front without getting a smaller tire. Still have more to go on the front coils. The front sits very flush, I am very satisfied with the front. The rear I am currently still working on. Need about 1/2" lower, small spacer and add a tad more camber. What do you all think? It will look better once I get the rear set up.
Just ordered Ksports and some achillies tires.
Now is it necessary to get adjustable toe arms? Or can I get enough adjustment out of the stock adjuster?
I also bought rear camber bolts. Hoping I wont need adjustable arms. But I do plan on going quite low.
If you plan on going "quite low" then get adjustable toe arms. The stock only give you like a .5 degree, which isn't a lot. As far as camber, you should be ok with just the bolts. I had 2.5 degrees natural camber when i dropped mine and never adjusted my arms.
