UPDATE:

Went to install the new parts today.

After 2 hrs of trying to get the transmission to hook up
I confirmed they sent me the wrong torque converter.

They sent me DA55.

DA55
Diameter -10.25” (9” Bolt Circle), Pilot - .825” (1.0” Tall), Mount - 4 Studs Welded Around Studs, Splines - 16
Notes - Lock-Up
2000-07 Focus 2.0L, 2.3L, 1999-04 Protege 1.6L

I should have received the DA54

DA54
Diameter -10.25” (8.875” Bolt Circle), Pilot - .825” (1.0” Tall), Mount - 4 Studs No Weld Around Studs, Splines - 16
Notes - Lock-Up
2000-07 Focus 2.0L, 2.3L, 1999-04 Protege 1.6L

The bolt circle is 1/8th different!!!!

That is why after 2 hrs of trying to get it to hook up it would not. It never was going to hook up!

UGGGGG

Now must wait for the correct torque converter to get here.

On a lighter note, the new CFM front control arms look awesome.

Peace

Joe

Lentech - Installed
CFM Tubular Front Arms - Installed
Steeda Right & Left Poly Mounts - Installed
CFM Lower Transmission Poly Mount - Installed

Completely different feeling now. It was stiff and agile before now its even more stiff and more agile. Its wicked.

I ordered Dominant Engineering Full Rear setup today.

Rear LCA set - Dark Blue
Rear Camber Arms - Dark Blue
Rear Toe Links - Dark Blue
Rear Chassis Brace - Black
Front Swaybar Links - No Color or Black

Hopefully it gets here before Carlisle in 3 weeks.

Tired now.

Peace.

What rear sway bar are you going to use, w/ Dom's rear arms? I'd run the sway bar upside down, so the end links don't hang down. I guess your pretty close to Dom, huh?

I have the Eibach 25mm rear sway bar.

I am not close to Dom, I dont know him at all. I just emailed him what I wanted and he gave me a price and told me they are all made and just need powder coated whatever color I want. If Massive comes out with something better for the rear lower arms I will just get them and sell Doms.

Peace.
