MKII Fusion rear subframe to MKI Focus?

Anyone know if a swap is possible?

Was under a Fusion today and I like the looks of their suspension setup. Lots of adjustability, vs our no adjustment BS. Plus the parts look beefier.

Thinking someone with access to the body alignment specs might be able to check?

Love how youre always thinking outside the box. Im curious as well. Junk yards are cheaper than the aftermarket lots of the time too.

Looks like all Fusion / Mondeo /etc rear subframes are the same.

For the curious such as I,

Focus Rear Subframe:

Fusion Rear Subframe:

And for the really daring,

Fusion AWD subframe:

I have body alignment specs for the MKI Focus but the manuals don't have anything for the Fusion. :(

I'd say it's something to look into.
Other than that I'm not concerned with AWD. RWD maybe though ....

Just by eyeball, the size is quite a bit different. Springs much larger for sure!

Now I've gotta pull out a tape measure next time I see a Fusion...
