With my current setup (FS Stealth and FS Flex) I am now leaning towards a RT cat and JBA or FordRacing Header.

I hear that when you add an aftermarket cat it really screws up the sound of your exhaust... makes it raspy? I realize no matter what else I do it will be louder but will adding an aftermarket cat make it sound like crap?

For my plans, the shorty-hiflo is the best choice for my car. I'm just doing bolt-ons and it's my daily driver.

ok i have 2.5 piping with a spin tech muffler and its pretty loud but not loud enouph to get a cops attention, but like at 2-3.5 its mellow then it gets pretty quite, and i like the way that it sounds but i was going for the whole svt header setup like the flex, cat and header and of course im geeting the diptube and stick, but what i really want to know is if my car will sound loud as hell if i put them headers and if i do what can i do to to make it quiter?

it CAN make it sound that way. that's the way mine sounded until i added a bigger resonator. i'd say just put it on and if it still sounds raspy, get a bigger resonator put on.
