Discovered that 87 octane can infact removed VHT nightshades, and a bit of compound, and polish will make em look new after that.

Decided to try to beat the rain and finally install my Skunk2 steel short shifter, of course half way through it started to rain. I was fine until the water came under the car looking for me.

Couldn't leave the project unfinished, though.

I haven't taken it for a spin yet since I had a couple beers while working on it. I played through the gears after backing it off the ramps and I think I'll like it.

Spent the weekend with a can of black of plastidip, followed by a can of white plastidip (actually...2 cans)

I wonder how long it'll last. I think I like the white. If/when it looks nasty, I'm taking the rubber pieces off and having them painted for good.

Did the power steering pump. What a PITA. Next up antifreeze and transmission fluid change then Friday body shop. Closer to the end.
