Edit

I'm not saying to switch to a 2015 front, I'm trying to clear up what someone else said. Did I not say I would not change it?

EDIT= I said that swapping for the ST nose would make more sense. I was stating that that is what I felt CunFF was trying to get at. Sheesh...

And for the record, I would not change it.

hey guys... i'm getting my plastic rear bumper cut today and I want to do a trapezoid shape like the ST. Can anyone put up a template? Like an image I could print out and cut out and use it as a template?
Bill?
Would be super appreciated... I want the cutout to look factory as much as possible.
thanks

Bill never cut his, I doubt anyone has a template to be honest, you might have to print out a picture of The rear and blow it up a bit on a copy machine, maybe till it fills up the page and try going about it that way.

papaacer good Idea. I printed out some blown up pictures and took "measureents" lol... best I can do at this point... probly should have gone by a Ford dealership and measured. I still can I suppose. Think they will mind?

the way it turned out the tips are touching up against the plastic and making ab bunch of noise. the tips are a little crooked/not aligned with the bumper wither. We will try to adjust it first.
Mike you are saying that if done right it doesn't touch plastic? I guess it's just aligned badly. Maybe if it is still a problem we will cut it as little as possible.
I posted pictures on my build thread...

Thanks

Take and measure the photo and make a formula for a scale. Like on a map, 1 inch is 100 miles or what not.

actually, that's what I ended up doing, as well as stopping by a dealership and drew a template.
however it wasn't necessary because we basically put little spacers under the rear hangers so the tips aren't contacting plastic anymore... and turns out the piping was contacting the walls under the car but fortunately that fixed it too so now there is no more contact noise just pure exhaust noise :)

I will post the new result on my here if you want or my build thread...
I am killing Bill's build thread lolz

sorry and thanks to Bill (and Mike and Suss) for support.

I'm definitely not changing cars and I have too much money into this front end to already swap it again.

Plus, adding in '15+ parts would make the conversion less 'authentic' since it's being built as a '13/14 ST-inspired sedan.
2015 ST new inspiration for ya! Another project to keep you busy

Glad to see it worked out! I am sure Bill won't mind since we were helping a fellow Focus Fan!
