I got around to "cleaning up" the front end of the IS300...

It looked like hell after getting through the winter

So I got some duplicolor (1C0) spray for touch-ups. I don't have the time to fully sand, reprime, wetsand, paint, etc. So I just wanted it covered and not so hideous from any distance!

Then addressed the fascia holes with some plastic epoxy to fill the holes

"Finished" and up-close

She's a ten footer now, at least! It'll do until I get it redone proper like.

I didn't want to take too much off the ends because I'd never tried taking mine apart, so I operated under a "rather take too little than too much" mindset.

I'm also looking at making a tarpaulin mold for a d.i.y. foam crash bar cover. That'll also make me feel better about the longevity of the fascia... and a ClearBra.

These little white trim things are really old and acting like it. They deformed to a point that I won't use them if I take it back apart. I need to cut it down sooon!

Sooooo tired of seeing this bitch every time I'm in the hallway... I'm gonna break those things and just hope they hold up.

So in the meantime I'm putting L-brackets on to mount the grill screens to later.

Welp... I had great weather, the tools to try it, and some motivation today!

So I went for it.

It sure as hell took all day; but that nagging project is DONE! Just some odds 'n' ends to make it look a bit more completed.

Fits well now, even looks good!

Really does fit/look good to my eyes, and I don't like ones that are too extreme/give an unbalanced look to the car. More aggressive look, but this flows & matches well.
