Need some help QUICK!

Okay so I took my car on the highway for the first time in weeks and everytime I go over 60mph the car shakes like crazy. I tightened all the lugs and that is no help. A week ago I had to replace my battery and I took off my FSWerks front stress bar to put the new battery in, and then reinstalled the stress bar. I am thinking this caused the problem, but am not sure.

Here are the bolts that I took off to get my battery in


I am supposed to drive the car 4 hours tomorrow and need to fix this ASAP.

Did the car sit? If so you may have a flat spot on the tires.

Otherwise sounds like you threw a wheel weight

Car sits a lot, I drive it a couple time a week for only a mile or two each time. The car shakes very hard, would that be caused by a wheel weight? I'll try to look.

Wheel out of balance (or round) will make the car shake badly, proportional to vehicle speed for the most part.

You can also get the same effect if there is mud or ice caked up on the backside of a rim.

It could also be any number of other things from wheel bearings, ball joint, bushings, tie rod, etc. So the next step would be to jack the car up and grab each wheel and give a firm jiggle to check for slop or play where there shouldn't be any.

Well I got a better look and it turns out my wheels had huge chunks of ice frozen on the inside of the wheels, sprayed those off and I'm good to go. Thanks guys!
