We found a new manufacturer to deal with about 2-3 weeks ago.

The billet oil pump gears are still in the development stage with the new manufacturer. They already made two prototypes. They are getting closer to being able to make them for us. They still have some more work to do. Given progress with them is slow, they are hoping in 4 weeks they will have production units for us. It sure looks to be much more difficult for them to make than they originally thought it would be. I will make sure to post up updates once we have more information.

Great News!!!!! Might be getting the oil pump over the Torsen Diff....

Do we know how this may change the price of the pump or is it expected to be priced the same as when the "old" vendor was manufacturing the gears? Is this the same or higher quality so it will be rated at the same RPM?

The goal is to make sure the new billet oil pump gears will be made at the same quality with the ability to handle the same abuse as before.

And at the same cost to the consumer?

here is my cell number again

828-261-6396

please be SURE to call me the moment that these go on sale. my engine will be getting buttoned up very soon, within the next few weeks probably, and i would like to get this in before the build is completed so i dont have to tear into it again to replace the old pump.

Likewise, once I get the oil pump I can finish my bottom end build and then focus on completing the top end.

It is too early to say. I am sure once it is closer to being done we will have exact pricing.
