roush side skirts
ed RS replica bumper (need to be installed)
avs visors
euro roof rack
weather strip lip
a cut off wheel does make this a real easy thing to do
mock-up
almost done
it looks so good
and done. now i just gotta save up for the rieger front lip. this bumper looks so good. it put a smile on my face everytime i look at it. also gotta try and find a good deal on getting the rear finished, then get the whole car repainted [~]
Wow man your car looks so sick. Thanks for posting pics of how much needs to be cut for the euro front. If i ever find one for a goodish deal, I will need to look at that again. lol
Im getting outta the navy next month. Gonna move back home to Killeen. Its about half hour north Of Austin. Glad u got it on. That shifter makes the interior look better. And like the feel of it. It's cool that for $12 you get a leather factory shift knob
have a handful of parts that have come in. rear crash bar, rear bumper lights, and euro fog lights. the euro fogs are pretty cool. they are same shape as the us spec one's, but the are solid glass and run an H1 bulb. that should make them a crap ton brighter. just ordered hyper yellow H1 bulbs. cant wait to get all put together.
thanks. im gonna paint it the same factory color. it grabber green metalic. id like to get it painted with just a smidge more flake. in the sun its an awesome color
thanks you so much for doing that [pray][pray] that looks awesome. i spent a whole weekend trying to teach myself a photoshop type program so that i could do they same thing. i failed miserably. i guess i will keep the side skirts when i drop it.
and yeah usually when I think of a "green" car i think eww but after you mentioned yours and after doing this looks clean. Im used to see old raggedy green focuses...so once your down (hopefully soon) post pics i wanna see the magic!
AND yeah took me a couple months to get used to all the features ps has to offer but once you get the hang of it, its cake
i hope to be in the the weeds by the summer. i will post a ton of pics when that happens. roads are pretty good in texas so i should be able to go pretty low without to much trouble
My brother will still be living here so I have an excuse to come visit. Next year I'd like to make my way back here for h2oi also, will be passin through here. You never know, I might come back to the east coast in a year or two to live here again.
so i was thinking about getting another euro plate, but this time have my real tag number put on it. europlate.com makes a plate with the texas flag on the far left instead of the blue strip. im kinda curious if i might be able to get a way with it with out the lawman given me a hard time. id even put my registration decals on it. any ideas? thanks
That will be illegal, it is possible that you could get pulled over for it, however
I got my done like that, and no issues so far with the police.
Your car is looking great! Whats the deal with the power steering line? I need to get one of those kits when I do my header, but does the kit fit how it's supposed to, or are you having to mod it?
the line is still leaking even with new nylon washer and o-ring. freaking frustrated by this. still looking for help on that one
still have to paint the calipers, euro rear bumper is in transit from england, and some mics. suspension bits need to be installed
the whole thing was pretty easy to do. it just the stupid fitting that goes into the ps pump. its a crappy design. i replaced both washer and that didnt help. i went to ford and they have some sort of new style fitting. i really hope this fixes the issue. it def gets it away from all engine heat.
well the new fitting is just an exact replacement for the factory piece. there seems to be an internal o-ring inside it so im hoping thats why its leaking. now i just have to figure out how to get the old one off. i havent driven her in three weeks and im kinda missing it so i hope this works
