Arrow Questions before tranny swap...

Ok, I think I have everything I need for the swap; here is my list, let me know if I'm missing something, as I don't wanna be searching for a part with my car in pieces.

- MTX-75 (have half-shafts)
- Pedal assembly (clutch and brake pedal w/hoses)
- Shifter assembly (shifter, base, boot, cables)
- ECU for manual Zetec
- Clutch, pressure plate, flywheel

I also need a clutch alignment too, right? Can I get that at any autoparts store, or do I need to order that from the manufacturer? What would a good gearbox fluid be (I was thinking about RedLine). Thanks!

Will you have to reprogram your keys to go with the new ecu?

Wow good luck with the swap. You better be posting pics when you do this, I have yet to hear about anyone actually doing this among it actually being possible.....

Again, good luck!

if i'm not mistaken, you'll need the clutch master (and slave if applicable) cylinder as well...

the clutch alignment tool is a splined plastic stick that costs about $3 at any auto parts store... i dunno about for the focus, but Redline is one of the best fluids for almost any application...

be sure to take digital pictures and write down EVERYTHING... your guide would be helpful to any and everyone else who will want to do this!! plus, if you mess something up, you'll have a records to backtrack on
