I received your mount this afternoon and I'm still trying to get it on. I took off the bracket thats was on the transmission and it looks like a botton or something block the mount. Its a hollow metal cylinder in which the bolt goes threw. Its at an angle how do i fix this? Wedged in there really good.

i don't have a digital camera but i'll try to explain. The end of the mount that connects to the transmission. It will not fit. I took off the bracket, it had three bolts two parallel and one perpendicular. The bolt goes through the bracket then the mount then the threaded side of the bracket. On the unthreaded side of the bracket there's a cyclinder in a hole in the bracket. The cyclinder has a hole in it for the bolt to go thrrought. THAT cyclinder is pushed in and wedge at an angle so I cannot move it. I'm not sure what its called but I want to say it a bushing.

This is a zetec by the way.

Was your bracket damaged for some reason? What part number did you order. I had to order three brackets before I got the correct one.

The sleeve inside the bracket was messed up so I'm getting a new one. I watched it up with the picture they showed me on their computer so I'm pretty sure its the right one.

You were right the picture didnt match up with the correct part number so I'll have to look for one.

Could you give me the correct part number to order?

OK I just got the bracket from you guys today and installed right after I got home from work. It took a lot of work to get it all together but it was worth it. Its so much easier to shift now and it doesn't clunk anymore after you downshift and coast around a corner then accelerate again. I love this mount, its well worth the money but I can't compare it to the VF since never driven a focus with their mount. And thanks to CFM for helping me through this special case. And by the way I think my subframe is bent a little I'm not sure but it might be to me jacking up the car up at the lower engine mount so I recommend that people don't do that anymore, two jacks won't hurt it's easier to prevent than to cure.

I ordered this part a few months ago and finally got around to putting it on. Wow, what a difference! The build quality is excellent and it definately tightened up the shifts. Thanks. Now, that said, where is my backordered CFM HFC? :)
