New LED cargo lights installed!! (56k sorry!)

Allright boys and girls. I have been waiting to do this for a month now and FINALLY had the time. As most of you were aware my custom box destroyed the old cargo light so I bought some led pods off of ebay for 5 bucks. It came with 4 pods with 4 bright blue LEDs in each pod, already wired and ready. You cant beat it!

The LED pod pic

The switch we mounted to turn them on and off. I couldnt find the right wire to make them turn on with the cargo light. (if you know which one, PM me)

Shots of them while the flash was on. (no glow)

And finally....THE glow!

Man are those pods BRIGHT! It took forever to get them wired up like I wanted. I could help anyone who wants it. Having a cargo light already makes it a WHOLE lot easier!

according to my trusty haynes manual, it is the orange/blue wire (+) and the blue/black wire(-) (blue/black then goes to the trunk opening switch before getting grounded so be careful or your trunk switch won't work.)

Looks great, I may do the same.

^^ Would you know which of the wire harnesses it was in? There were 2 big wire harnesses and then a smaller group of wires tied into them

I did the same but used a 12 blue neon tube and wired it right where the bulb goes. It comes on just like the the trunk light. Wish I had the hatch to see them when trunk was closed but yours looks good

What type of sub enclosure is that? I don't want to lose much room and that looks nice and tucked to the side.

It looks like a sub unit from a SVT.

Pretty good guess! But it *was* the sub enclosure from the Audiophile system. I took it to some friends here in town and we hacked half of it off, and they added another box onto it to give it the correct amount of airspace for my Fosgate. So its a mix-breed.

PS. If you like that design, you should check out JL's Stealthbox for the Foci. Exact same design as mine but slimmer I believe.
