Need Gasket Part Number

Does anyone have or know where to get the Ford part number for the gasket that goes from the flex pipe to the exhaust system? I need the #'s for the SVT system (unless a new flex from McNews comes with it which I doubt) and the regular Zetec system. Thanks.

go to your local parts store and they will tell you....if not, then the dealer will tell you also.

Factory gaskets are usually metal and can be reused multiple times. If you get a bigger pipe you can cut out the gasket with scissors too. I'm on my 2nd flex, 4th header and 2nd exhaust, and I'm still using the gaskets that came on the car. haha

Haha. Mine is leaking right now from my flex to my exhaust system on my Borla. AutoZone doesn't have it and neither does Advanced Auto. Do I have to bore out the gasket so it fits the size of the 2.5" Borla piping? Right now the gasket hole is the same size as the flex pipe, but the hole in the middle is smaller than exhaust tubing.

if you have a stock flex it doesn't matter. you gotta make the center bore as big as the smallest pipe fitted to it or it will block flow. If its leaking just get some orange silicone at autozone, the high temp stuff with copper in it works well in that application. Just take out the gasket, cut it if you need to, goop it on both sides with the silicone and put it back in. No more leaks. Good luck

SVT is 2M5Z-9450-AA and BA, and there are two different ones for the zetec and they are YS4Z-9450-FA which is identifyed by 57.5mm spacing on the mounting ears and the other is 1S4Z-9450-AA and is 52.5mm spacing .

What would be the cause of the different sizes in the mounting ears? Would the smaller one happen to be the SPI?

Thanks a bunch though. If that high-temp silicone doesn't work I'll be getting a new gasket. When I take it out, I'll just measure the ears and see which one is right.

Just wondering, where did you get the #'s from?

I had my Dad take some measurements on the stock exhaust flange and the only measurement that comes close is from the center of the pipe to the center of the bolt hole which is 52mm. I'll probably try reseating the gasket first, if it still leaks, try the silicone, and then if that doesn't work, go down to a dealer and have them get me the right part.

Where can you get some graphite gasket material? Ive made my own out of those before and they work wonders. But cant find out where to purchase more. The first of wich was given to me by a friend.
