So I take it that the Focus' Zetec engine is not an interference type engine. Meaning that if my belt snaps, my valves will be okay, right?

correct, but 180 deg. out of time and cyl# 1 valve gets slightly tapped (Not dammaged tho) ITS CLOSE !! But do yourself a Favor and don't run it untill it snaps Evan tho they arent an interfearence engine replace the parts at the reccomended intervals for trouble free opperation

Why won't the mods sticky this ??????????????????????????
