15.35 ET in my SFTF

This last Saturday I outdid my previous best (15.5 @ 90.8mph) with a 15.34 @ 89.97. My 60' time was 2.29, and my reaction time was .0268. I was doing time-trials and ran with a Camaro that ran a 9.89...makes my "quick" run look a little slow. I suspect he's not using his car as a daily driver when he's not autocrossing, but still..

My car is bone stock. I lowered the PSI in my BFG G-Forces to 35psi and launched at about 3500 rpm. The track is near sea level, and the temp was about 78.

Thats a pretty good time for a stock SVT. Good work, and nice drivin. And that Camaros 9.8 does make your car look slow. Also you say that you LOWERED your psi to 35? Correct me if I am wrong but shouldnt it be at 32 psi anyway?

My door panel reads 32-35. Maybe because you have the euro rims? *shrug*

Naw, all SVTFs are supposed to have 32 up front, 29 in the rear. How did you disable the TC or did you run with it on?

I believe the OEM tires, the conti's, required a little higher pressure than the B.F. Goodrich's I have on there now. I'm refering to the info on the tire for proper inflation pressure.

I disabled the traction control by pulling the ABS fuse.

I believe your refering to the MAX tire pressure on the side of the tire, You should be at what the Tire manufacture reccomends, 32-34 psi usually.....

15.3 is a nice time for stock. With that 2.2 60'...you have some headroom the improv your time. 15.0-15.1 isnt out of the question with stock SVT's. That might require removal of a few interior items.....hehe....its hard but it ends up being in the launch..60 ft's drastically affect your ET

I'm refering to the info on the tire for proper inflation pressure.
As mentioned, that's MAX pressure that the tire can handle.
For my Contis, and now my Hankook R-S2s, I run 35front/32rear, for daily driving.
That's 3psi over the factory recommended 32/29 found on the driver's door, and in the SVT Owners Manual Supplement.

You car must have road like a rock if you drove around all the time with 45psi?
