Talking first auto-x

fun fun fun fun.... it was a great time. ill put some pics up when i get em on my comp.
I ran in SM, no cat and 65mm tb. slowest in the class but i didnt expect anything. my best run was a 75.4, the best of the day was a 55.5(cart) and the slower runs were 81s.
now need a better suspsion and tires :)

20-25 dollars is far from expensive.

Also, compared to the fines, fees, and insurance increases after you get caught street racing, even $300 track weekends are cheap.

25 dallors for an event hardly seems expensive. If you have a good safe time with out worrying bout big bad crown vic coming to ask you questions then its worth it.

I wanna try it sometime myself sounds fun sounds like it takes alot of skill & practice.

I just ran my 2nd autocross and love it!! I run GS and Novice, get 2X the seat time that way. It is VERY ADDICTING . I will stick to stock and save my $$ for tires next year.

We had a old LTD crown vic run the course, he was sliding every were but he did a good job.

Thanks for clarifying. 25 dollars is nothing, but how much is a helmet, i was looking online and they were all like 5-800 dollars. Thats alot of mods for me lol. I can't believe i got flamed for the street racing comment, bastids!

You can find them as low as 100 bucks. Even most autox clubs have loaners if you don't feel like purchasing one.
