OMG, when I watched the video, I realized that when I installed my ground wire kit, I had reconnected my washer nozzles when I was resecuring the stock grounds. So don't mind them when they show up in the video

Don't worry though, they have since been disconnected again. I bought them because I wanted the chrome look over the stock black pieces

In the parking lot, I never got out of second gear but because of the SCT. The ATX shifts around 45MPH at WOT, so I didn't have enough open road to get up past that. During the audio only the feed was taken from inside the vehicle. I didn't have access to any editing software this time around, so I apologize for the incompleteness of the exhaust clip. I'm hoping to get a better 'session' in sometime

sounds like mine, but louder, not as corked up as mine. My chambers vibrate a bit in my muffler too when it is cold...but the inside of the car sounds the exact same, except for some reason at WOT, mine seems to sound like it revs a lot faster

I believe that for the header, flex, exhaust setup I paid a little over $600 for it all. Since I installed it myself I probably saved some money there too

Of all the parts I've ordered over the past month, the last thing I have to install are my FR Stage II Cams. I'm quite pleased with the overall performance so far and I can't wait to get the cams in to see how those work.

I'm really happy that the exhaust doesn't sound like crap. I've read that exhausts sound nice until you add a race header, but in my case I think it sounds pretty decent. I'm thinking of buying a stealth system for it depending on the noise level and how much unwanted attention I get from it. Thanks for the comments

Not obnoxious at all, especially considering that's with header. Sounds similar to mine from inside, from what I can tell. The way it can be mellow when you're creeping along then it revs up and makes its voice heard. Very good choice.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I'll be taking it down to the drag strip in Cordova to see what kind of improvement I'll get from last time. I'm really excited about my new modifications though. I no longer experience any sort of 'heat lag' or 'surging' when accelerating from a stop or roll.

Freaking rock on dude! The exhaust suits your car to a 'T'...low, mean idle and snarl all the way to WOT. It does sound a bit like Goats, just quieter.

Oh man I think I just drooled all over the keyboard from hearing that exhaust, THAT IS PROBABALY THE BEST EXHAUST I HAVE HEARD ON A SEDAN !! BTW, I too have the same Engine/trans setup and judging by the sound you were going about 75-80 MPH Correct me if I'm wrong ?

Also I just got my Random Tech Cat (SVT to Zetec) Yesterday And I will be installing my full SVT Exhaust today !! I'll post videos and everything as soon as I can so you all know what a RT / SVT Exaust setup sounds like !

Thanks again! I agree that this setup is WAY better than what I had on there before. Troy, all I will say is that on the closed highway I was on, I may have exceeded those speeds. That was from a 20MPH (or so) roll too.

I hope the install goes well for you and I can't wait to hear what your setup would sound like! I've been listening to many modified vehicles around campus for the last month or so and I've noticed that people with just the aftermarket mufflers can only be heard when they are 'punching' it. After they get to the speed limit and back off on the gas, it's like their car isn't even there. When I was noticing how my car was sounding around 'cruise' speeds, I could still hear the deep rumble, but it does get louder as I accelerate. I think that's a great sound to have all of the time instead of just when I'm 'punching' it

Brad, I think it sounds pretty good as well. I probably wouldn't put anything quite that loud on mine, but I do prefer to slip under the radar...

I wonder if there's any way to get the tone deeper across the whole range though. I always prefer the deeper tones, like when you car is a bit off the throttle. Ida know, sounds good man.

Heres mine, we all know streetfire does something a little weird with the sound but its close enough. this will give people an idea of how loud magnaflow+ race header is. *side note, car sounds much raspier once the cams went in, wasnt really expecting that*

love it!!!...makes me want cams so bad...revs fast. Nice flat shifting too

My borla gets about that loud at WOT...everyone starts wondering what the hell is passing them
