Ride height!

I have a 2002 ZTS,just installed new springs and strut kit from O'reillys and the front end seems high! Any ideas? I am new here and wouldn't have bought them if I been on this site sooner! Note: theres about 3/4" of threads above lock nut. Thanks

Did you tighten everything while the suspension was drooping? If so you may have bound up bushings. As a result it may take some time for it to settle. Always do final tightening with weight on the suspension e.g. on some ramps to prevent binding.

I would be on the problem being the struts not seated fully in the steering knuckle. You have to be sure, when installing them, to make sure the little tab on the back of the strut seats against the pinch bolt on the back of the steering knuckle. This is done by getting the strut in the steering knuckle a little ways, threading that bolt in a little bit and then using a jack under the steering knuckle to push the knuckle up over the strut until the tab comes in contact with the bolt. Then tighten that bolt down all the way. If this isn't done it can make the ride height much higher than it should be.
