thinkin about taking the FOCUS SES emblems off the trunk. What would anyone recommend the best way to do this?? Materials?? thanks for any help!

heat gun (or hairdryer) and some old credit cards. Then goo-off (or lacquer thinner if you know how to use it) to remove adhesive

yep, i took the SE off my 08, and i just used a credit card and goof off on a hot sunny day

I used dental floss to cut through the tape, then removed the adhesive with Goo Off. Didn't need to use a heat gun, the Miami sun was enough.

Waxed the area afterward.

I used a hair dryer, plastic kids knife, bug&tar remover (couldn't find my googone) and patience. I don't miss that crap on the back. Nobody really cares what kind of car you drive, and if they do it's better to make them guess. Plus it just looks sexy!

yea i wanted to do it since i got the car, but i washed it the other day and the towel i used to dry it off snagged the C and nearly ripped it off, so i think now's about time i get to taking them all off. thanks for the help and info!
