More Woes for Toyota

Seems Toyota is going to be earning some more negative press. This time with their engines.

Toyota says 270,000 vehicles have faulty engines
Quote:
TOKYO — Toyota Motor Corp. said Thursday about 270,000 cars sold worldwide — including luxury Lexus sedans — have potentially faulty engines, the latest quality lapse to hit the automaker following massive global recalls of top-selling models.

Haha, oh boy. Well Toyota USED TO have some really fun cars back in the day. Earlier generation Celicas, MR2, Supra, etc. Maybe it's about time they learn a thing or two from Ford and restructure the company with EXCITING and HIGH QUALITY built cars. They became way too overconfident with their rep and cut corners to save money with their cheap, boring appliances. And now they're paying the price for it. If they can manage to pull through this chaos, hopefully they'll learn from their mistakes.

Really not that big of an issue..........considering the number of autos affected. 270,000 is not that big of a number in all reality.

Moaaarr?

270k is nothing compared to the millions they recalled. Though some people that do read and find out about it might be turned away.

Well think of it this way, at least you won't have to worry about suddenly accelerating off the road now.
