FS: --SOLD-- 2000 Zetec Engine w/only 17k miles --SOLD--

>>>This has been sold.<<<<

Hi,
I'm selling a 2000 Focus Zetec that I bought 4 years ago. It has been sitting on an engine stand it's entire life. Details...

Item Description: 2000 Ford Focus Zetec plus box of parts
Location: New Berlin, WI 53151 ---Local pickup only---
Asking Price: $350 cash at pickup
Contact Information: Email at buttonpuncher AT gmail DOT com or PM me.

The wrecking yard that I bought it from said that the donor car had 17,000 miles and that all cylinders compression tested 200+ psi. Right now the engine has a 2000 Contour oil pickup and oil pan. You will need to put the oil pickup and oilpan from your old engine on this one.

There is also a box-o-parts that I pulled off the engine. Injectors, fuels rail, intake manifold, throttle body, etc.

Pictures...

Thanks,
Ben

It's not that big and I've got an engine hoist. I could drop it right on your trunk. It's only 20 hours round trip. Suck it up and stop by this weekend. ;)

I might be interested. I need to talk to my dad about this one. We're over in Eau Claire, so pick up wouldn't a problem. Ill PM if anything happens.

I'm pretty interested now, is there anyway to prove that it has only 17,xxx? Not that I don't believe you, I just want to be 100% sure on the mileage.

That was what the wrecking yard told me so I'm going on their word too.

I have the receipt from the wrecking yard somewhere but who knows where. It'd take me weeks just to dig it up. (literally) I'm pretty sure that it had the VIN on it. You could do a carfax on the VIN to make sure that it was registered as wrecked at the proper mileage.

If that's what it takes to get it sold, let me know and I'll start digging for the receipt.

Thanks,
Ben

I don't want to be a pain, but that would be helpful.
