Finally painted the hood

Okay ... for those of you who know what my car looked like before ...

Now at the shop TODAY ... ALL DAY PREP AND PAINT ...

We finished Late today ... so I am letting it dry over night and pick it up tomorrow ... I will post pics of this on the car when I am done.

Yeah the shop belongs to a fellow AutoX'er from our local region. He hit me up with a sweet deal ... So I took it up. I did must of the Prep work and painted the Silver ... but since I am still fairly new at his air tools and really painting in general ... He did the Clear Coat.

My arm hurts from all the sanding.

Slow03 - - Yeah that Subi is pretty nice. They did a 3.5" wide Body ... Crazy huh. It's also all kinds of decked out. ... Full Uni Body Roll Cage, New Turbo, InTrax Suspension, PlexGlass Windows, Full Gutted out interior ... I mean a Beast. The person who owns it will be doing Road Rally and AutoX.

... And yes they are all project cars (But also cars for others not just the shops) ... um that's only half of the cars and half the shop.

The other side has custom trucks ... They didn't want me to take pics of that side ... YET.

It seems this is popular way to paint the CF OEM hoods with those who have them.

I like the design also because it goes with the lines ... I did do a bit of a dip on the lines to kind of make a small adjustment to look and added a silver line at the part closest to the windshield above the washers.

Makes me just wanna paint my car lol. I'm going to do prep work but I'm definitely having someone paint and fix the body work. Man Raymond its going to look sick on your car. It'll look like a new car for sure! I really can't wait to see it back on your car. Also did you drive your car home without a hood?
