And, barely 15 minutes later...installed.

NOTE:
You'll see in the pic that I installed the OEM brackets on top of the supplied Progress brackets.
After lots of reading here and on FJ, it's a fairly universal conclusion that they should be installed in this manner,
as the supplied brackets are rather suspect if left on their own.
The instructions mention to "Utilize OEM hardware to attach brackets".
Well, they give you new bolts leaving only the OEM brackets.
Regardless, it fits like a glove and I highly doubt there will be any bracket failures with this installation.

Road test is yet to come.
Couldn't feel much this morning, other than the rear end feels much "tighter" in the turns...less body roll.
The true test will be on the track this weekend for a 2 day AutoCross.

Yup, gotta love that color. I thought you were going to get it powder coated.

Still a wonderful bar though.

^^^Added some notes above...

As much as I hate the color, powder coating will have to wait a bit.
I'm too anxious to test this thing out this weekend.

You do agree about the bracket mounting, don't you?

Fazerdude:
Sorry for the slight hi-jacking, but I figured you could use the pics and tips.
I still can't believe the price that Summit is selling these for.

Yes, I utilized the stock brackets. I can't rememver if I double-braketed with the Progress ones, or just use the OEM ones. The Progress ones just look small and weak.

Oh snap ! I didn't notice that in the instructions. I didn't have an OEM bar so all I have is the Progress supplied brackets........<running to the phone>

Seriously though, no issues so far but I haven't raced it either.
