yes they are...my main problem is and I believe it has been in the past is my clutch. I can drive the car, I can launch the car...but if my clutch wasn't slipping on that first run last night, I have no doubt my mph would have been a little higher and I prolly would have dropped my 60' down to a solid 2.2 or lower, resulting in a 15.4-15.3. Not to mention, that tune wasn't my race tune

nice times. can't wait to see what i get in about 3 weeks. 10.07 in the 1/8? those are the only tracks we have around here. best i've done off the bottle, without cams, without full exhaust, and without the xcal2 was 9.8.
on the bottle, without the mods i listed, 9.2 (55 shot)... hoping to break waaaaaaaaaay into the 8's in the 1/8th, and when we go to the 1/4 track, 13's with a 75-100 shot.

btw, i've noticed that launching on street tires at around 3300-3500 yielded the best results.. slightly feathering the clutch of course. my best 60ft was 2.2 with that method on stock 15" rims with douglas "high performance" tires. dr's are on the way.. bwahahaha

yup, tried that...ended up spinning right at the top of first gear a little bit, more like wheel hop Yet, since my clutch slips anyway, slipping it really works the best lol, other than shifting into second. I got my best 60' slipping it (2.2X), but my top end dropped bad for some reason. My 15's and BFG Traction T/As did A LOT better than my previous SVT 17s and Kumho Ecsta 712s...just because I could let more air out of these tires have a little softer widewall helped a bunch. I dropped a full 1/10th because of them and still cut a sucky 60'.
