Modded N/A Zetec vs Stock SVT

What chance does a normally-aspirated Zetec ZX3 have against a (nearly) stock SVT ZX5? Is there any combination of common mods and/or bolt-ons (besides S/C, Turbo or NOS!) that could give the ZX3 a chance against an SVT with only a Hypnotic tune? Assuming I don't completely choke? What if it was a 2.3L, any mods that could give an advantage over an SVT then?

A Zetec would have to be putting down 150-155 wheel hp which the same as a stock SVT, and that normally takes intake, complete exhaust, cams (stage 2's maybe), ported head, and a good tune.

Now a 2.3L would probably only need an intake and full exhaust and maybe a tune to be right there with an SVT.

That is what I would guess from what I've seen mod wise and power level wise. Hope this helps..... :-)

I can hang with a Stock SVT...I assume the 5-door is a little heavier.

I have intake, header, full exhaust, coil and wires, plugs, pulley, motor mount, and a tune.

Not again, please do a search.

Stock Zetec? Won't happen without more than just bolt ons. To kenpokid who said he can hang: the 5 door is a fat 50-60 lbs heavier. Driver weights are more influential than the number of doors. Also, what SVTs are you hanging with when your best is 15.77? Every driver's time on this site posted has been between 14.9-15.3 depending on weather/track conditions.

Slomo is right about the 2.3L, it takes an exhaust, intake, tune and bs delete to match the SVTF. With the extra displacement and torque advantage you run a higher risk of losing on drivers ability though, the duratec pumps out the torque.

edit: *crosses fingers and counts the seconds until the hordes come down on this thread and turn it into a pissing match and 'I AM TEH BETTAR THAN J00!!11oneone1!eleven!11'*

no pissing match going to come from me... i agree with you. but i have a bit more than the standard "bolt-ons" so i still wanna run against one.
