yeah it doesn't sound right.
Canada uses metric system, which means Kilometers per Liter, instead of MPG.
Anyways here's the conversion
1 mi = 1.609 Km
1 Gal = 3.785 L
1.609 / 3.785 = 0.425
therefore:
1 mpg = 0.425 Km/L
1 Km/L = 2.353 mpg
Attention Canadians... to do the conversion just multiply your Km/L by 2.353, and you get the correct equivalent mpg, so we can all speak the same language
I don't know what I get though, I don't drive my car much, so mpg are not a real concern for me at the moment. But I do know that I get around 350 mi on a full tank (highway)
