yup one wreck or close call is all it takes, like losing it at 75 and planting your car in a 5 foot ditch. my buddy chris did this with his t-bird, now he has a metal rod in his leg and walks with a cane cause his leg can't bend. have i ever done it, yes. was it stupid HELL YES. i dont think your list of mods should include HAND CONTROLS!

It amazes me, even as a nOOb, to see so many people who are willing to shoot a response to this thread while OBVIOUSLY not reading the entire thing...I for one can sense the frustration and conviction that BIGBADWORM and fokuzsport are feeling. I also know what street racing can cause. One of my buddies had a life insurance settlement due to both his parents' deaths. He used the money to buy an Integra, and modded the HELL out of it. You name it, this kid had it. A week after it was all finished, he put it in a tree and killed 3 people, including himself. This was an unorganized race, spur of the moment, and in fact the two people he had in the car with him who didn't even realize he was racing were the other 2 fatalities. It doesn't matter when, or where, or how crowded it is, street racing is STUPID. You know my strategy for sitting at a light and getting a challenge? Don't race when the green light comes. You'll have a front row seat when the other guy hits something or gets pulled over. If you are going to modify a car and be willing to spend that kind of money and time, it should not even be a QUESTION that you would be responsible enough to take it to a track. People who street race don't deserve to be driving at all...sorry about the rant but like others have said, you have a stronger opinion about it when you know people who have died or been seriously injured. Life's too short to throw away for 20 seconds of adrenaline.

The world is over-populated anyway so who cares if a street racer wipes out a grandpa or two, in reality he is doing the world a favor...jmho. Also to quote one of my favorite movies "...Damit Blue was old. Thats what old people do.... they die."

Most idiotic response I've ever heard in my life.
