from a business standpoint, you are absolutly correct. (which is probably why no one makes forced induction products for the SPI)
the zetec is much more popular, and does start off with better performance. however, i think it should be fairly simple to cater to the SPI crowd... the turbo manifold off escort SPIs with a little moddification should work on the little basterd engine. only problem is few SPIers have the capability to actually do what needs to be done, or the ability to produce and sell it. the only problem from a business standpoint is that SPIers are stereotypically bean counters, so to speak. (which is why we drive the less expensive SPI, save money at purchase, save money on gas, etc. etc.) I understand you have a business to run, and you can't lose money because you have a family to feed just like the rest of us, but I encourage you to atleast look into the SPI engine. It may never be a block buster as the zetec or honda b series, but it may make you a few bucks, and loyal customers. just something i believe you should look into. swing by the SPI forum and look at how many people have asked about turboing the little red headed step child of the focus family. |

Yes he is correct, the manifold is 700 and thats all stainless steel but the head flange. The t3 and say a 38mm are CNC 304 stainless and the runner and collector are the same. It takes some time to make these and materials are really costly so it seems like alot of money. If you look at other companys they sell for 1300-550 depending on style. Im sure im the only company making a manifold such as this for the Zetec. The 3" downpipe is also stainless steel, comes with a ss flex section and o2 bung.
We make Top of the line manifolds for those looking to go hardcore or show. If your only running a few psi then running this manifold and never upping the boost would be a waste. On 300-600hp ect cars there is a gain of close to 50whp on the top end, just depends on your setup and engine. Just shoot a email if interested. info@neukin.com |

I cant do anythign that fast, im working on getting into a new shop and keeping orders out the door, there is still a delay of 3 weeks before i can ship since i cant keep up. The neukin name has spread, now i just need to produce good manifolds faster. Ill do something for you guys asap but it will be a good month before i can start ect. I need a test car and id like to get that engine at the shop if anyone knows of a junk setup they can send here. thanks -Alex
