Can the small screen in the Focus SE be used for a backup camera?

New things are developing and I might end up with the Focus once again.

Instead of replacing the entire dash with a new headunit or using those custom rear view mirrors with the rear view cam built in, I was thinking about using the stock screen instead. This would be similar to what the Honda Civic.

Is this possible to do if I install the backup camera, run the cables, and have the techs hook it up to the screen somehow?

If you want to not change the dash there is a back up camera kit you can buy that puts one in the rearview mirror

Yea, I was hoping to avoid doing that since the reviews I read online for those mirrors aren't too great.

The funny thing is all info is in blue, yet in service mode the 4" screen between the gauges clearly flashes solid blue red and yellow (Maybe it is green?) anyway it had full color possible, just NOT used. Why?
