Replacing and upgrading stereo in 14 SE

I just pulled a new SE off the lot but am extremely unsatisfied with the audio quality of this car. I have looked into new systems but I keep finding that if I change the stereo, I will lose the synch functions?

My goal is to be able to drop in a couple of subs and get a decent head unit into this bad boy. Is there a way to replace the stereo in this car to something that would retain use of the current sync and voice activated features?

I been wondering this for a while too.... I couldn't really find much on it so I just ordered a double din head unit with dvd gps and bt and the metra installation kit with a wireing harness I found on ebay, once I have everything installed I'll post if it's compatible. The harness I got apparently works with sync but only time will tell.

Metra makes pieces to retain sync and replace radio. I recommend visiting your local professional installer

Have you spent time adjusting the EQ and made sure the timing isn't set for the driver's position? The SQ of the stock system is actually pretty good and the processing of the stock headunit will be hard to match without an active setup.
