Keep in mind; in car audio -like most things - you get what you pay for. So definitely stick to known brands. Many here have had luck with cheap shit, but many more have not. Take your time doing your HW. Theres good info on this thread so far.

Which thread? This one? I think I'm going with this. I just hope it's available very soon.http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130X670...H-X6700BT.html

It's the same as the X6600BT, just with a better 10 level dimmer. It looks like a good choice, I think.

I got the pioneer DEH-4600BT about 10 days ago and love it. I have siriusxm and use it on my phone. I use the Bluetooth to stream sirius to the car. The Bluetooth is great for smart phone connectivity and hands free calling. As soon as i turn my car on it connects to my phone. It synced my phone book so whoever calls shows their name scrolling on the receiver. USB is great for connecting other devices for not only playing sounds over the speakers, but charging devices also. Also has a jack for connecting devices that way.

All in all, great receivers to get! At the very least get my model, the 6600 is much better. I wanted to get it but i got my unit off Amazon for $93, new with prime two day shipping. It had everything i wanted.

Goodluck!

Adapters? Just the normal wire harness adapter to the car. That's it. For me (07 ZX4) the antenna adapter was not needed. Antenna plugged directly into the back.

Also, the normal Single Din housing, but that's always needed for our cars.

I went to cluthfield.com to see exactly what I needed, and then I got the same part numbers from Amazon. I only did it that way because I'm an Amazon Prime member and get all of my items free 2-day shipping. I saved going that way. Otherwise, I would suggest going through Cluthfield.com since they will provide the items free for items over a certain amount. I would have gotten everything I needed free, but the receiver was $20 more than what I paid for at Amazon, not including the shipping. But once again, that was my route. Not for everyone.

But, to answer your question again, wire harness for the year/model was all I needed to have the receiver work properly.
