Help with MK1 vs. MK1.5

Alright guys I'm looking at a parts car at auction. I can't make it up to look at it before the auction so I need to find out when it was made to make sure it will be plug and play for the harness for my swap. It's a 2002.

According to this VIN check-http://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do;jsessionid=050E90B6A496F8B9BEEE7DD409F1F082.eccvas507

It's build date is 25.03.2002. I've heard different dates as to when thry swapped things over...Will this work?

Thanks

Not plug/n/play, check details in the engine/trans swap section.

I know the engine is not plug in play. I've done my research. I'm purely talking about the engine harnness that goes to the gas tank. My understanding is it changed sometime in 2002.

There was some kind of change mid year, I vaguely remember, buried somewhere in this site is info.
And my best guess is January 2002 was the change.

This is exactly what I don't need. I need facts.....I can guess

Does anyone know the correct date when things changed? and what changed?

I have looked high and low through the forum but haven't found anything. If you know a thread with info please post it here.
