Exclamation Body Kit choices

Body Kits. What better way to stand out of the crowd? I know a lot of guys on here love the stock bumpers and everything and I do too but I wanna make something somewhat original out of my 01 ZX3. I've been looking into body kits as a future investment for when I'm ready to paint my car and I don't know what to choose. Mainly it's the material. I love the idea of polyurethane bumpers because they are virtually indestructible and if you're one to drive up every curb like I am, you need that durability. The problem with urethane is that it's dummy expensive so I'm drawn to fiberglass and that fiberglass mixture or whatever it is from Duraflex. I also have heard many complaints about Duraflex products not fitting well but I assume that would be the case with most fiberglass parts seeing as how they are so rigid.

There's so many brands of both urethane and fiberglass kits to choose from so I'd like to know your opinions on them, I'd prefer those of personal experience rather than what you may have heard. As of right now, I'm leaning toward a urethane front bumper and fiberglass rear bumper/side skirts since those are less likely to be hitting curbs. I don't want anything too extreme, especially in the back. I love the Rally look so that's what I'm aiming for.

soooo yeah, lemme know what you guys have on your rides and what you think of them.

Thank you!

I have this body kit:

Cervini

Sitting at my pops house. I was very tempted to throw it on my ZX3, but I never got the chance to (car was totaled by some stupid...jackwagon that blew through a red).

I found the kit on Craigslist for 500, lady said I could walk away with it for 375 cash. Full kit too - front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, fiberglass hood, and roof & mid wing.

No clue what I'm gonna do with it now though. I REALLY do like the bumpers, side skirts, and hood. Not crazy about the wings though.

I pick up this body kit sometime last year. I still haven't painted it yet, but it'll go on eventually

I went w/ wingswest skirts, like you said urathene is tough vs fiberglass. I couldn't find a desent set of svt skirts & the roush set is pretty spendy. Looking at skirts in the bst section is a hit or miss as when they show up or not. So I ordered a set of wingswest skirts from andysautosports a few yrs ago. I like them & fit great.

A lot of people don't like the Xenon body kit, but I dig it. It's different.

And will do with the pic
