rear most exhaust hangar?

hey guys,

just bought a 2003 zx3 and its not the prettiest car but it was mechanically well kept. the only gripe i could find was that there is no rear car side exhaust hanger. does anyone have a picture and/or part number?

thanks.

Does it still have the rear "lunchbox" resonator at the end?

Most have a resonator right at the end that we usually take off to give it a slightly louder growl then put a tip on it.

Search lunchbox removal and i think you might see some images in that thread of what the stock setup looks like.

this is the first car that ive owened with an exhaust at all i looked under the it and it looks like a muffler under the rear seat and a resonator under the bumper. im looking for the hangar that holds the very last resonator, it looks like it could be a rubber piece.

On the Sedan at least, the rear hanger is a rubber connector from a hook on the back of the rear resonator to one on the car body.

From what I remember, ford used a weird hanger on these... the rubber part anyhow. It had a rectangular end at the top that would rotate and lock into the body. Not the normal thing.

I thought it was a hole in the frame with a grommet in the hole and a hook was welded to the muffler or pipe and hooked into the grommet.

Mine is an 07 and i didnt study it much before i removed the rear resonator lunchbox thing.
