turbocharging an svtf

So I've been looking to get more power out of my svt and its looking like the next step might be getting a turbo kit. My first time looking into them, the cheapest I could find was $3799. Then I looked on eBay and found some for around $700-900. First off, are these kits any good? They sad they could add 50-100 hp which would be nice but I'm wondering about the quality. Secondly, how hard is it to install? Is the installation well beyond the average Joe? How much would it cost to have a kit professionally installed?

Thanks!

Moved to the Forced Induction section where you can find the most info. on turbocharging.

A recent thread asking about E-Bay turbo kits can answer most of your questions on that immediately, rather than waiting for multiple replies. (see this one:http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=446889)

Basically needs a LOT of work & extra purchases to make it run, and still won't be a very good system. (custom fit tubes from generic parts, purchase tuner & tune elsewhere etc..)
