Yes, seats will be reupholstered but it might have to wait until after the driving season because quotes are coming in over $1500!

You could import RS interior whole, for that...lol

BTW, My fans we're just spliced into the US harness. Connectors cut off and soldered them.

Shoot me some closer pics of the gap in the rear bumper/quarter area. I don't recall having issues with mine. I'd like to see yours to compare with mine.

Cars coming along great, I too will have to deal with the fan connector once I swap in the RS Turbo engine, should be soon I hope. Got to finish the Cossie to swap daily drivers

I will get you some pictures in the next couple of days, its definitely not as close as I would like it. On the fans still working on a harness, either way there will be some wiring involved but worth it as the RS fan setup is so much nicer.

Still no word back on someone with a Focus RS radiator fan harness plug, I am going to let it go until the last minute to find one and if I can't I will have to splice in the US one.

Since the Milltek was a little shorter and bigger (closer to 2.75") I needed to cut out a section of the Borla, flare it, and weld it to make it work. I think it turned out pretty well and the most important part is it fits!

I also had some time to make up brackets for the intercooler. I checked fitment and it looks like it will sit in a good place in the bumper as well. They still need some paint though.

Right now I started on the carbon work for the gauges and I have my brother working on fiberglass for the dash. I also started working on all the wire feeding for the gauges. Hoping to have the engine mounted this weekend!

Made some more progress this weekend:

Worked on carbon gauge holders for my dash, I still need to bond the air vent one and make the brackets for the CD Player but the mock ups are at least turning out:

Air Vent (with mock up gauge)

CD Player with Master ON/OFF

Also bolted up the transmission and installed the engine:

After fitting the engine it looks like I might have to move my fuel pressure regulator but thankfully that is it. Luckily I re-made a brake line last week on the passenger side as if definitely wouldn't have fit! All wiring for the guages and main power supply come through two holes where the brake line enters the cabin. I did have to cut and re-solder the harness for the avc-r as the plugs were too big to make it though the hole.

Next Steps:
-I'm getting closer and closer to going with the mustang throttle body. Why drill unnecessary holes if the remote IAC might/might not work? If I can confirm that all I need to do is drill another four holes into my mounting plate and hone out a wider hole I am going to go with the larger throttle body. Luckily CWCZX3 has already been blazing the way for this how/to mod!

-I still need to decide on a catch tank, I already have a mock up fabbed together but I may decide on a different setup.

-Now that the engine is mounted I can have the high pressure line for the power steering made up.

WoW! I just read through all 72 pages in one sitting. I could not stop reading. Since it's been over a month...what's the latest?? Great build. I am super impressed with your attention to detail and the build and skills required. I look forward to seeing the finished project.

Thanks for the comments! There will be an update after this weekend, I just haven't had the time.

New take on the RS valve cover. I had to go with a metal version to get the AN fittings to work. (I tried a plastic one but it wasn't working right so I decided not to cut of the real valve cover and to make a new one instead) This is a smoothed contour cover with two 10 AN fittings and the correct decals. Still needs to be clear coated.
