I know its been said before, but it definitely warrants another round:

Killer job man, super clean build done right- fixing all the little stuff so it doesn't bite you later.

Not gonna lie, my build is going to mimic this almost to a t...

I need all of the repairs you've done, I've just got other pressing issues that require a larger portion of funds

I have a lot of extra wires from the previous owner (an idiot who did his own "maintenance") that need to be removed and there's a lot of wire looms and brackets that are just simply not where they're supposed to be.

I'm hesitant to dive in headfirst on relooming the wiring harness because im worried I won't ever get it back together or I will have to take so much of the engine apart I'll have to drop more money on repairs to put it back together.

What do you suggest on that? Was it time intensive? Should I get a dedicated DD before I tackle it?

So here's little update and should be pretty regular now... I have to get this car done before the baby gets here in July/August

Got rid of the barely charging DB 200amp H/O alternator..... replaced it with the OEM Ford unit ,thought id post a pic for y'all of how it needs to come out (the orientation) without removing motor mounts. it wont come out any other way and it has to go back in the same way,

1.) remove vapor can
2.) unplug vapor line from pipe that runs down firewall
2.) undo plug connectors in that area
4.) Unbolt ground wire and bend that tap down as much as you can
5.) now you can get the alternator out an in

Look at all that room

Before you install the new one make sure these adjuster ears are pushed all the way in otherwise it wont slide on the bracket very easy.

Next I needed to change out the windshield trim since it was all sun-baked and cracked which was allowing water down in the passenger foot well and the pollen filter

Out with the old..

This pollen filter has been in there for about a year and the inside air started to smell a little funky.

They also sell activated charcoal pollen filters now, same price as the regular it will get rid of funky smells I just got the regular since it had more pleats to filter dust and dirt.

Much better now

Here is the usual spot where it will leak notice that even the new one is raised a little bit(not as bad as the old one, but i kept a hose running on it and no leaks so its all good.

Got some new Steeda floor mats they even came with the rear seat mats much better than the factory, Wish I got a set of Redline mats before their embroider went out of business but the Steeda mats are really nice and fill the floor pans front and rear better than the OEM Focus embroidered mats. I haven't put them in the car yet cause i need to do a little cleaning first.

Stay tuned more to come next week

So A while back i peeled off the gay pinstripe.... well all the residue was left... Goo goner was taking forever,SO I got this 3M Wax/Rubber wheel.... this guy makes a MESS! did the job though without messing up the paint....Not that the 10 year old paint job is worth a shit but now I dont have to look at that residue every time in get in the car.

Before

Clean area well this residue had a bunch of sand in it

After

Next was to install the redline dead pedal

Then the Redline Hood Struts

Oh YEAH!

Looks good. Think I might have to do the red line strut kit myself.
